The list of scholarships below are available to Te Puke High School students who want to continue studying at University or Polytech.  Some of the scholarships below have links to access further information.  Alternatively, visit our careers desk in the Student Learning Centre for further information.

Scholarships Offered by Community Organisations

  • Dr Leonard Randell Memorial Scholarship ($1,000)

This scholarship is available exclusively for Te Puke High School students.

Criteria: Based on academic achievement in field of personal endeavour.

Applications are available from the  Career's counter in the Student Learning Centre.
 

  • Owen's Family Scholarship ($3,000 a year for three years)

Criteria: General and academic achievement with a strong sense of direction and motivation and community.  Applications close at the end of Term Three.

  • Te Puke Methodist Opportunity Shop Scholarship

This scholarship is available exclusively for Te Puke High School students.  Up to 10 scholarships awarded.

Criteria: Students with financial need.  Selections are made during January when NZQA results are available.

  • Te Puke RSA Scholarship (Two $1,000; one male, one female)

This scholarship is available exclusively for Te Puke High School students.

Criteria: Students with financial need.  Academic potential.  Good character.  Positive ambassador.

A four year scholarship with a total value of $5,750, which is paid over four years, the first year $2,000, the second, third, and fourth years are $1,250 each year.
